Typically I set up a wordpress with a static home page and then rename my post from the default “hello-world” to “blog” or whatever the blog name is and set the posts page to that. With the Showroom theme (Genesis Child Theme), there is no static home page to set. It appears they have used the Posts page for the home page. For the posts page, it was working fine as long as I left it as hello-world. When I try to change that, it disappears and the page returns an error message. If I can’t change the posts page in the general wordpress settings, how can I redirect it to anything except hello-world?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • The static home and posts pages are set in Settings > Reading, have a look what it says there, if you renamed your page you probably need to reset the static pages there.

Thanks again chrispink. I see now what I did wrong. I had to create a PAGE for the blog posts to appear on. Fixed. I appreciate your quick response. I have been unable to get support from the vendor who I bought the theme from.
