    Have you made any changes to the theme files? If you are making changes, they must be made in a Child Theme – so that your changes are not overwritten and lost when WP is updated. It’s also important to have an unmodified version of the default theme for troubleshooting purposes. If you are only going to make CSS changes, you can use a custom CSS plugin such as jetpack.
