Changing sub “Site Address (URL)” leads to “Page not found”

    I have properly “mapped domain” to the sub-site (i.e. when I type in the purchased domain it goes directly the sub-site I’ve created).

    But when I go to change the site’s URL to the mapped domain, I get a “Page not found” error.

    NOTE: I am not ending the updated URL with a slash (/).

    how have you “properly “mapped domain” to the sub-site” are you using a plugin to do the mapping?

    Why are you trying to change the sites url if the mapping is working?

    I have solved this problem by parking the domain.
