Hi,
thanks for your question!
This is one of the not thaaaaat easy things: You will need some basic knowledge about CSS, a styling language for websites. While this might be tough in the beginning, this gives you a lot of flexibility and a lot of freedom in styling your tables.
In TablePress, you can enter such CSS code into the “Custom CSS” textarea on the “Plugin Options” screen.
As a starting point, I suggest that you take a look at the CSS introduction at https://www.htmldog.com/guides/cssbeginner/ to get a feeling for it. You can then take a look at the FAQ page of the predecessor of TablePress, WP-Table Reloaded, at https://tobias.baethge.com/wordpress-plugins/wp-table-reloaded-english/faq/ and https://tobias.baethge.com/wordpress-plugins/wp-table-reloaded-english/documentation/ Unfortunately, I haven’t yet found the time to re-write these for TablePress, but they should still be of good help. You’ll just have to keep in mind that every instance of the string .wp-table-reloaded
by the string .tablepress
If that does not help, please feel free to post more details about exactly you would like to change in which way. I’ll then gladly assist in finding the necessary code!
Regards,
Tobias
