Changing text colour in topbar

  • I’ve looked through old forum queries and answers from the last few years but haven’t found a solution. I’m designing a hueman site and want to have a light-coloured topbar, so I need to change the font colour from white to black. I’ve tried all the pieces of code suggested into the advanced – custom css box, most recently this one below, but to no avail…

    .nav-wrap.container {
    color: #000000;
    }

    Can anyone suggest where I’m going wrong?

    It’s JUST the text colour I’m having trouble with…
