• Hi

I’m the administrator of a WordPress site with a customized theme. On the page linked to, there are 2-3 lines of text in the 3 columns with action buttons.

I need to change these texts, but our developer has gone AWOL. The texts cannot be changed in the administrator module, so I suspect they are buried somewhere in the customized theme files. I just cannot figure out where and how to edit them.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Holger

Moved to Fixing WordPress, this is not a Developing with WordPress topic.

I’m the administrator of a WordPress site with a customized theme.

Which no one here has access to, nor should anyone ask for that access (meaning if anyone tries to contact you from here let me know as they’ll be banned). That complicates things immensely.

How is you coding comfort level?

    Hi

Sorry for posting in the wrong forum. My bad.

I will most definitely not give anyone access to anything on the site, but thanks for your advice!

I’m not familiar with PHP, but I’ve done a bit of minor coding in various languages right back to my Commodore 64 days. So I should be able to handle a simple text edit in a file somewhere. Trouble is I’m to daft too spot the right one.

    Thanks,

    Holger
