Changing the background in theme 2010.

you need to start with making an image with the desired gradient on your computer; (a thin vertical slice); and note the color code at the bottom end of the image.

then goto ‘admin’ ‘apperance’ ‘background’ and fill in the fields;
as background color, use the color code from the bottom of your image;
tick ’tile horizontally’;
save changes.

photoshop, or the gimp which is free…

make a tall rectangle image with one solid colour, and apply a gradient to it with teh other colour. Lots of tutorials on the google if you can’t figger it out
