Changing the color scheme?

    Hi,

    This is a really good theme, and I’m making a child theme for my site using it. I’m trying to change the color scheme away from yellow and make it orange. I was able to change the navigation bar at the top of the page using WordPress’s built-in customization feature, but I’m having difficulty changing the other yellow parts, such as the side bar, the category titles, the “Read more” link, and the text highlight color.

    I dug around the CSS file as well as some of the other template files, but I couldn’t for the life of me find the lines of code that control those colors. I even got the color hex code for the yellow (ffcc00) and attempted to locate the relevant lines of code using the search feature but that yielded no results. Would you be able to point me in the right direction?

    Also, I suppose it would be nice to have these included as customizable using WordPress’s built-in customization feature in a future update to the theme if possible.

    I figured it out. Turns out I’m blind and missed the relevant CSS located under CSS>colors>default.css. You can also customize the colors of the dark theme from there too if you go to dark.css.

    I also didn’t realize that the dev offers a Pro version of the template which seems to include more customization options. I encourage those who aren’t good with CSS to pay for the Pro version and support the developer, as this is a pretty nice theme.
