Changing the language redirects to homepage

Hey guys, can you please help me fix the UX problem. Every time i click the lang flag i get redirected to home page, that is a bit frustrating, is there a setting to let user stay on the page while changing the translation?
my current setup:
1. permalinks settings: /%postname%/
2. using a static frontpage from Elegantthemes.com theme
