changing the location of the wordpress folder

OK, I originally built the site in a folder called “wordpress2.” Then, when the site was complete, moved all the wodpress files into the root, out of the folder, and changed my settings to point to the root of the server.

Now, only the homepage shows up, and the other pages I get the following error: “Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

what am I doing wrong?
