Changing the look of the shop page

I am working on a project with a shop with woocommerce and everything (thanks to the wordpress forums) is going well. Now i arrived at the next step and that is changing the look of the shop. I heard this is where it gets a little tricky since i might have to start changing .php files. I have my child theme active so it (hopefully) will not mess up too much.

So here we are, i have litterly no clue how to make changes to the page itself. I have removed the read more (or add to cart button) but i did that with CSS and now i want to show a little product information under the picture.
