changing the name of a hosted plugin

  • I have extended the functionality of a plugin to the point where its name does not make sense. Is it possible to:
    – change the name of the plugin and associated pages and svn structure?
    or
    – add the plugin as new but set the old plug in to upgrade to the new plugin so users of the existing plugin know about the new features?
