Try this in your custom css:

.woocommerce ul.products li.product .onsale
{border-radius:12px; font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif; font-size:18px}

If your theme does not have a setting where you can enter custom css, you can use a plugin like this one:

I can add custom CSS and I already have with some other adjustments which works fine. However, it does not work this way. At the suggestion of the developer of the theme , I also tried the following:

.woocommerce span.onsale {
border-radius: 3px;
}

But that does not work also..

The snippet is inside the @media scope above, so as it stands it only kicks in at browser width 480px and below. The fix is to close off the previous @media scope with a closing } before the .woocommerce etc.
