Changing the “SOLD” label is WooCommerce Shop

It seems to me that the string is already being over-written somewhere since the string should say Sold Out or Out of Stock by default.

The code doesn’t change the text in the label unfortunately – which what I am after.

Yeah, I didn’t think it would. I expect it is already customized somewhere.
Hopefully you have a child theme running? (if not, you should). ?

If it were me, I would :

– download my theme folder and files,
– search within files using a text editor for these strings:
out-of-stock
sold
edgtf-pli-out-of-stock
Do the same with your WooCommerce plugins if you don’t find the string in your theme.

With WooC, who the hells knows.
