Changing the Topbar color with CCS

  • I am looking for a way to change the topbar color. (where I currently have the tagline located)
    I don’t see an obvious setting where it is with other themes (APPEARANCE>CUSTOMIZE>HEADER>TOPBAR) so I would like to change the topbar color with a bit of added CSS. I have scoured the web but whenever I think I am getting close, the poster seems to be using a different theme.
    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

    (On a side note, the home page is password protected because I just started creating the site, but you can still see the slider and topbar I am speaking of. I can provide the pw if needed)
