I think I understand the following instructions.

To create a registration form for the group, create a page with shortcode [profilegrid_register gid=”x”]. Here, x is a Group ID.

However, before, when I was experimenting with the page at Dashboard > ProfileGrid, to try to get users into a group, after I put a check mark into the “Default User Group” checkbox, I clicked on Duplicate. That left me with two groups, one with x equal to 1, and another group with x equal to 2. I deleted the group whose value of x equals 1, instead of deleting the group whose value of x equals 2. Now, is there a way to have a group whose value of x equals 1? I looked in “Settings” and “Fields”, and couldn’t find a way to change what x is equal to.

I suppose I could use the group whose value of x equals 2, but to me it makes more sense to use the number 1 before using the number 2. Is this something that I have control over?

    Thank you!

    Hello @jason975,

The deleted group cannot be recovered, you may change the x to 2 in shortcode.

Here x is an existing group ID, once you create a page with registration shortcode for any existing group ID, and configure this page for the option ” Registration Page” from “ProfileGrid >> Global Settings >> General” in the dashboard, and then go to all groups page in front end and click on any group to join, this page will automatically redirect you to the registration page of that group.

I hope it helps, let us know if you have any other questions.
