changing the way we show up in Spotify

    A while ago, we realized then when people looked up our podcast in Apple Podcasts, it repeated our show name as the publisher/organization that shows up below the show title.

    So while our show is Let’s Talk Sales and our company is Criteria for Success, the listing just had Let’s Talk Sales twice.

    I was able to change a setting to make our company name show up instead below the podcast name in Apple Podcasts, but I just realized we’re having the same problem in Spotify.

    I can’t find any option to change what shows up there, and I don’t even remember what I changed to fix the Apple Podcasts listing. Is there any way I can get this resolved? I’d love for people to be able to find us by our company name as well as by the name of the show.

    In the PowerPress settings > feeds menu > Apple Settings, make sure you have whatever you want the “By” line to be, set in the Author name box. Save changes.

    This will take a day or two to update at Apple and wherever else.

    I usually find all the menus to be pretty understandable, but for some reason I just couldn’t figure this out.
