Changing Theme but want old site cache to stay while building

    Hi,

    I was wondering if anyone could answer my question?

    I am going to be changing my clients theme soon, and while I am building the new look site I wondered if the old site would remained cached by W3 Total Cache?

    If the old site is still visible while I am building the new one in the background behind it this would be of great advantage to me. I have looked high and low but cannot find an answer.

    Please can someone help?

  • This is not how the product is designed to be used, so you won’t find any useful discussion about this, sorry. You should just develop the new design on a test domain.

    I appreciate your quick answer.

    I will set up a test domain and begin to develop the new site there.
