Changing theme – losing content

  • When I change my theme (have changed from colorway free to colorway pro) none of my content is present when I activate the new theme. When I switch back to the old theme however all my content is still there. How do I activate a new theme and just keep my content?

  • I’m sorry but as you are now using a commercial theme, you need to ask the theme’s developer/vendor about the disappearing content issue. We do not support commercial themes here.

    FWW, your content should always be retained when you switch theme – although it’s presentation will change and you will have to set up custom menus & widgets again. The latter are only stored on a per-theme basis.
