Changing Theme – site locked

    I was trying to preview my site and all of sudden I had this message below, I can long into my back office to change anything, how do I resolve this. Here is the message below …

    What is the Zend Optimizer?
    The Zend Optimizer is one of the most popular PHP plugins for performance-improvent, and has been freely available since the early days of PHP 4. The replacement code blocks perform exactly the same operations as the original code, only faster.

    In addition to performance-improvement, the Zend Optimizer also enables PHP to transparently load files encoded by the Zend Encoder or Zend SafeGuard Suite.

    The Zend Optimizer is a freely-available product from Zend Technologies. Zend Technologies is the company that develops the scripting engine of PHP, also known as the Zend Engine.

    I did and they said everything was fine on their side but I have to get into the dashboard and change the theme … please advice

    Rename the theme folder to something else.

    Changing Theme – site locked

    If your site locked up immediately after trying to switching themes, you can use an ftp client to rename or delete the theme that locked you up. Then revisit your site in your browser, and usually, the default wordpress theme will re-appear. Assuming that changing or trying to preview the theme is what caused your site to lock up, that should allow you to get back in.

    There are a lot of good “magazine themes” out there that would be similar, even free ones. Just search for “wordpress magazine themes.”
