• We are having a problem with a plugin that generates a page (a Calendar). Occasionally the site can not find the new page (it appears that this is because it has not yet been generated). The problem is not consistent and it appears that it is one of timing. Asking the browser to refresh usually finds the page. Is there a setting to change the amount of time that WP waits for a page before saying it can’t be found? Is there an adjustment that can be made to increase the speed of processing of the site (memory or what?)?
    Suggestions please?
From a browser perspective we have tried with multiple browsers and devices. The problem exists on all and is equally inconsistent.

  • What is the plugin name?

The Plugin is The Event Calendar. You can see the ‘problem’ at internationaltrusts.org, the page is: Calendar of Events
It always loads the calendar view page properly the first time, but switching back an forth between Month View and List View is where it becomes inconsistent. It can work once then not the next, or it can work multiple times, then fail. In our tests of this plugin on our test site (different server) we can not replicate the problem.

If you got the plugin in the plugin directory please post a support question there.

Thanks. Good point. I did but and will update it since we have drilled down on the problem. However the questions still stand unanswered. Is there a WordPress Setting that we can adjust to allow for more response time? Is there an adjustment that can be made to increase speed of processing on the site (memory allocation or?)? If the answer is no, then so be it.
