Changing Title Character

When I enter a title like:
“WSOP Updates – Event #4 – Mike Spegal Outduels Gavin Smith”

The second “-” is actually a longer slash and converts to “???”.

Is there a way that any “???” change to “-“? Some sort of text altering process?
