• Hello

Love this theme and am working on it for a new website. I’d like it to be more liquid, to work within some percentage width parameters and also to work with fluid rather than pixel fixed text sizing.

I’m having trouble picking through the css to do this well, can anyone advise?

    Thank you

  • Really would be nice if someone would answer this question. I’m trying to change some of the sidebar and main content sizes as well. Can’t seem to find the settings either. Am I looking for these in the loop or ?

I am currently looking for some guidance in this area as well. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of work.

That’s nice and all, the whole Firebug thing…But, some folx just don’t use Firefox while others have no clue as to where Firebug comes into play. We’re just asking for some simple guidance in this.
    Thank you.

The specific changes vary from theme to theme & from site to site. Some are simple. Others require extensive theme re-development. No one is suggesting that you change your normal default web browser. Firefox+Firebug should be used as a tool to facilitate this work. If you cannot manage this work yourself, consider hiring someone.

I guess we don’t understand the forum set up. We assumed we were asking about a specific theme. I know I found this thread when looking at the list of subjects under the Graphene theme.

Then try contacting the theme’s developer directly. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a forum response from the Graphene’s theme developer on this forum.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a forum response from the Graphene’s theme developer on this forum.

That’s because most of the support for the theme is provided via the theme’s support forum.

But not exclusively. I do sometimes take a look at the forum here for the theme’s support requests as well.

others have no clue as to where Firebug comes into play

I wrote a tutorial on using Firebug/Firefox to address some of these issues, especially with the Graphene theme. You can view it here.
