Changing view leads to 404 because of full URL replacement

  • Hi,

    Currently I have the plugin set up at https://example.com/th/events. When I change the view (e.g. list, month), it takes me to https://example.com/events/month which doesn’t exist. Manually accessing it at https://example.com/th/events/month does work.

    Could you please add an option to append the month part to the URL, instead of rewriting the whole URL?

    Current behaviour
    1. User is at https://example.com/dont/bother/me/events
    2. User clicks a view to change.
    3. The URL changes to https://example.com/events/month

    Expected behaviour
    1. User is at https://example.com/dont/bother/me/events
    2. User clicks a view to change.
    3. The URL changes to https://example.com/dont/cope/with/me/events/month

    Is this possible?

    I would also like to replace the word Events with Dates

    Thanks for your interest in our products!

    Give this a shot:

    • Deactivate all other plugins
    • Activate an unmodified theme like Twenty Seventeen
    • Visit Settings → Permalinks – without actually making any changes, go ahead and save changes
    • Check again to see if this resolves the issue
