    Hi

My site works fine on my local instant wordpress. I’ve uploaded it to the host’s webserver, however there are some issues with the media.

Not all of the media files are transferred using wp migrate. This could be an issue with the plugin. However I have deleted and re-imported all the media on the server, resulting in some name changes.

The issue i’m having at the moment is that the image reference for the welcome logo doesn’t change, regardless of the fact i am removing it and replacing it with a different file with a different name.

Is this is bug? Why is it working fine on my instant wordpress installation on my computer but not on the server?

    Many thanks

Also, this is my website: curtiswebsitedesign.com

I can re-reference the background image of the employees section (under the header) by picking it from the media library. You can’t pick from the media library for the logo for some reason. Could this be something to do with the problem??

    Thanks

    Hello,

You can’t pick your image from the media library for the logo because that’s just the way that option works. It’s a Customizer control built into WP, we’re just using it. And after that we’re outputting the selected image in header.php. So basically nothing could be wrong on our end. Somebody else reported a similar issue at some point and I think the plugin he used was also wp migrate.

If the image isn’t changing after you use the Customizer to upload a new one, perhaps you have a caching plugin that’s causing some issues?
