• I made the terrible mistake to try to change my URL, and now my page is ruined. Can anyone please help me go back to my normal site and help me change my url in a easy way. Now when I try to log on i get this message: The requested URL /wp-login.php was not found on this server.
    The thread I found on this support forums are complicated for a real newb.

    Thanks in advanced.

    Krishna thanks for your reply!
    I already read this article. The problem is that now I can’t even log in to my site. When i write my site+wp-admin I get this message: The requested URL /-wp-admin was not found on this server.

    My site link is: annesofiefalcke.com

    Please re-read the page at the link posted above. None of the suggestions made require you to login to your WordPress dashboard.

    Oh okay! I got it to work now. Thanks for your help – this forum is great!

    Can you maybe help me ones again so I don’t ruin it ones more.

    I used the first option edit wp-config.php file. If I want to transfer the site to say example.com insted of annesofiefalcke.com I should only edit WP_SITEURL till the new web address or both?

    define(‘WP_HOME’,’https://example.com’);
    define(‘WP_SITEURL’,’https://example.com’);

    And will I then be able to make a new blog on the old URL/annesofiefalcke.com without messing with the new.

    Thank you in advance.

    I do not understand what you want. Do you want to move the site to a new location or do you want to add a new site to a sub-domain or directory?

    Directory?
    I want to move the whole site to a new url. But if I can have more blogs or sub domains I want to do that.
    Does that make sense?

    Try reviewing Moving_WordPress.
