Channel Posting is Working but Bot isn't

    Ciao Marco, ottimo lavoro,

    installed your plug-in on my website, set up all APIs and stuff (using wptele.ga) set the bot as administrator of my channel I’m able to send messages to the channel from the WP dashboard, while unfortunately the bot is still not working.

    If I try to start a private chat with the bot it just gives me the welcome message set with BOTfather, I also cannot see any channel subscribers, nor groups.

    I already set two commands /aiuto and contatti (with and without /) without any success.

    What could be the problem?

    I’m facing also another problem, when your plug-in is enabled whenever I save options or change settings in the WP Dashboard it gives me a blank page (it still saves\updates\works).

    Can you help a fellow Digital Champion ?? ?

    Hi colleague!
    Let me reply with a list ??

    • The subscribers list only shows your bot users (not channel due to Telegram limitation and different api architecture)
    • Groups should be shown in your website when your bot is added to a group
    • Did you place a featured image in those commands? If yes, try removing it
    • Try increasing your php version. With 5.3 there could be some problems. Then check also if the blank page in options disappear.
    • Does the log page show the messages sent?

    Thank you for the quick answer, so:

    1. Ok, but users (private chat open) are still not listed.
    2. No groups appear (I added the bot on one).
    3. No at the beginning but after you told me I tried one with featured and one not, without luck.
    4. I had 5.4 and tried to revert back to 5.3, and 5.4 again but no changes
    5. Yes, log page shows messages sent (that are the only thing that works).

    Hi,
    please try updating to the latest version. I found a php encoding error that may cause some conflicts.
