Character entities in feeds

    Occaisionally I need to insert character entities into my feeds. Since I can’t be bothered to look up the numerical version (like ö) I just insert ö.

    However this causes a problem with my feed, since it renders the XML invalid. Is there a plugin which can take the human readable character enties and transform them into the numerical version?
