Go to the Connections : Settings admin page. Under the Advanced tab, what is the Character Base? If it is empty, click the Save Changes button. It should now say char. If it does not, enter char and then click the Save Changes button.

    Does that fix the issue?

    I have the same problem.
When I click in the character index, it link to wordpress home url.
This problem is in the live version of wordpress site.
Char index search in local server is perfect.

    Plugin is perfect, highly recommended.

    Thanks in advance.

On the Connections : Settings admin page under the Advanced tab; is char in the Character base or is it blank? If it is blank, add char and click update.

    Character base set to char.
    But the problem not fixed.
Is there is any other solution ?

What is the link to you site so I can take a look?

    Thanks for your response.
I have replaced Character index search with custom search box.

Since it isn’t clear from responses you’ve gotten shazahm1, I just wanted to say (for your and everybody else’s benefit) that I too was getting this issue, and putting char in the structure as suggested makes it work perfectly.

    Thanks very much!
