That’s really strange, maybe the issue is with the MBString.

That should fix it for you. You can also try to get help from your hosting company as this needs to be done on the server side.

Hi, thanks for your quick reply. I checked if mbstring was enabled, and in phpinfo() mbstring is enabled. Is there anything else I can do?

I have just checked the site and the characters are coming perfectly.

Please share the solution with others.

The solution was to install the same mbstring, I had it installed, but by default it was in another php version, through phpinfo(), checked which php was being used and installed mbstring for it.
