    Hi,
my question is about payment gateway fees in general.

My client is interested in setting up a payment gateway for the e-shop in Woocommerce, but he doesn’t know how he will be charged fees for using the payment gateway in the e-shop. He prefers Stripe gateway. Isn’t it a coincidence that when paying through the gateway, the client receives the amount automatically reduced by fees? He would need to receive the full amount for each transaction and that the payment company would then send him a summary invoice with fees each month, which he would pay.

And I would also like to ask how it works at the Paypal Standard gateway? Is a similar procedure possible there?

It will make my job much easier if someone of you advise me on this.
So far, I have not had to deal with such a request.

    Thank you very much.

  • Hi @jurajj!

For more information about fees and how they are charged to you by Stripe, we recommended getting in touch with their support team for further assistance on this.

Please login into the Stripe account and go to https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true.

And I would also like to ask how it works at the Paypal Standard gateway? Is a similar procedure possible there?

PayPal works similarly: you get the money with fees already discounted.

Since WooCommerce is just the place where all these payments happen, we suggest contacting the payment processor provider of your choice for further information about fees and how are they charged to you.

    I hope this helps!
