My client needs to charge sales tax in Michigan but not Ohio (those are the only two states they’ll have customers in and it is a private shop). I currently have it set so that the Michigan tax rates are in Woo commerce and it charges based on shipping address but it still calculates Michigan sales tax when I use an Ohio address. I also tried putting in Ohio at 0% and that did not work. I’m at a loss for what to do.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

To troubleshoot this further, please do the following:

    • Share a screenshot of your tax rates found under **WooCommerce > Settings > Tax > Standard rates**
    • Share a screenshot of your tax settings under **WooCommerce > Settings > Tax**
    • Share Michigan and Ohio addresses that we can use to test with during checkout

    Thanks!
