• Hi
we are a Uk company, selling subscription for an online publication. When we sell a B2B subscription to a UK company we need to charge 20% vat, but woo commerce does not support this. It always registers the sale without VAT. This is not correct, why does it do this and how do i correct it?
All other EU countries function correctly with B2B vat as these do have 0% vat.

You are correct that VAT should always be charged on domestic B2B sales – but only on the sales of digital products. For example, if the sale is for a hard copy of the publication then VAT does not need to be charged on B2B sales.

I will be surprise if WooCommerce is not doing the right thing or does not have an option to enable charging on domestic digital sales. Are you sure you have specified that the products you are selling are digital?
