Can you please provide where you obtained “Charity-Thermometer (ver 1.1.2) ” from?

It’s been a while since that plugin was last updated, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it won’t work for version 4.x.

Requires: 3.5 or higher
Compatible up to: 3.5.2
Last Updated: 2013-6-9

That being said, have a look at this discussion from about 6 months ago, where the plugin developer responded to an issue that appears very similar to yours.

I truly apologize for waisting your time asking about the Charity Thermometer.

I realize that some things are just not compatible and it’s better to move on.

So, I’ve chosen and tested the Olimometer and it is GOOD, which makes me happy to have a way to display donations.
