• I work for St. Vincent de Paul and the person who created our website left and gave me limited access to changing the website but I need more access to change our business hours but he’s not getting back to us. How do I go about getting admin access without any of the information and without the person who created the page? (Also, I know nothing about WordPress).
    Thank you,

This article lists several completely different ways to reset your password. Any one of them will work and do the job. Find the one that’s right for you and use that: https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/resetting-your-password/

Use the PHPMYADMIN method to reset the old admin’s password. Login as them and make your own account an admin, then logout and login as yourself. If the old admin is truly gone, change their access to “no role on this site” or “subscriber”.

You may need to contact your host, OVH, to get access to the hosting account.

Thank you for the quick reply! I’ve gone to the website and downloaded the program but I’m not sure how to open it/run it. Would my WordPress login get me into that program as well- since it says to login and I obviously don’t have a login for it?

Downloaded what? There’s nothing you should be downloading. If you’re trying to access PHPMYADMIN, that’s part of your hosting package. Contact your host for help logging in to hosting and/or to the database.
