Chat box not closing

    With the update to version 0.6.9, the ^ icon in the upper right corner is not positioned to coincide with the hot spot that allows the user to close the box. Clicking on the extreme upper right corner works, but clicking on the ^ icon itself does nothing.

    Note that I am not using the telephony integration, so no telephone icon appears.

    The problem exists in both the Chrome and Firefox browsers.

  • I have the same problem after updating to version 0.6.9. The chat box starts as minimised. However, if I open the chat box there is no way to minimise it again which is very annoying. Appears similar in Chrome and Edge. This problem has not been seen in previous versions of the plugin so I suspect a minor but irritating glitch in the plugin. (Website: https://science-network.tv/). I would appreciate if this can be fixes asap. Thanks!

    Same situation as for me. I tried your site and found that I could close the chat box, but you have to click in the extreme upper right corner of the box. Still, a visitor would only hit on that by mistake.

    OK that is interesting. So the clickable spot is slightly different from the icon for minimising (the clickable spot is only a small part of the area where the cursor is transformed into a hand indicating that it should be clickable). I wonder if this glitch might have been introduced at the same time as the new function to alter the size of the chat icon. I also noticed that all other sites using this plugin seem to experience the same glitch.

    I can confirm, exactly the same on my site.

    Hi,

    Thanks for bringing this to our attention. This will be addressed in the next update. Until then, the chat box can also be minimized by clicking anywhere else on the chat bot header.
