    Working on a site at https://dolphinstruth.com/chat-room/game-day-chat/ where the chat room plugin seems to be installed correctly. If the Admin is logged in, he can chat and the chatting works fine.
    But for those who are not logged in, they get this message: “You need to be logged in to participate in the chatroom.” (see the link above)
    Is there a way to not require log in? Just let each chatter enter a nickname for themselves instead of logging in?
    If log in IS required, how does a new user log in? Are they logging into the site or into a WordPress account? The chat room seems great, but we are trying to allow people to “log in” as is required and having difficulty

    Been a long time since we’ve really done much with this plugin, and don’t have any plans for it at the moment either. Just a for your information.

    I believe it was made logged-in only for ease of setting up username. Just have it use their login, instead of trying to set up some way to store and re-use a name for the duration of the visit. It’d be using your standard run of the mill WordPress user.
