    Hello,

    I am experiencing an issue concerning the chat notifications with e-mail. I have made the selection for the chat windo to pop up automatically. Each time a customers visits my site I receive 2 identical e-mails (not just one) that inform me that the customer has opened the chat box. I need the notifications only when the customer writes something to me, because otherwise I am constantly receiving emails, which is very annoying.

    Hello, I have disabled the selection of email notifications when a customer starts a conversation, due to the problem I was facing. I can do a test though and let you know.

    I just made a retest. The issue with the popup seems to have been resolved. However, I receive two e-mails for each chat message.

    Fantastic news, so glad to hear the notification issue has been resolved.

    Could I ask you to confirm if you have enabled the ‘Chat notifications’ found in Live Chat -> Settings -> Chat Box?

    This option will notify you via email of any chat messages as well. This can be disabled if preferred.

    Yes ‘Chat Notifications’ is checked. However, with each new chat message I receive two identical e-mails instead of one.

    Thank you for your time on this one, we do appreciate it.

    I have looked into the issue with the email notifications and identified this as a bug within the system.

    We will be patching this in our next update, which is scheduled for release within the next day or so.

    I hope this is acceptable.
