Chatbox not showing up

    We installed the free version of this plugin, and we are interested to upgrade to the PRO version.. However, when installed to the first test site the chatbox is not showing up.

    Can you please check what’s the problem on it so we can fix?

    Thank you so much for getting in touch.

    I had a look at your site and found that there is a JavaScript error coming from a minified/combined file on your site.

    The error can be seen below:
    Unexpected token :

    When a JavaScript error occurs on a site, it is common for these errors to interfere with other scripts which may need to run on a page. As WP Live Chat Support makes use of JavaScript for creating the chatbox and handling chat data, I believe this is the cause of the issue.

    Would it be possible for you to temporarily disable the minification/combination of JavaScript files on your site? This would help me identify where the error is coming from.

    This can usually be disabled from within any caching plugins you may be using, or in some cases in specific minification plugins. Performance plugins tend to have options which allow for minification and combination (or concatenation) to be enabled.
