chcgned blog url by mistake…cant change it back

  • I changes my blog url, I cant remember what I changed it from, and I cant get back in to change it. All teh formatting from teh blog has dissappeared. Im a bit out of my depth. The blog was displaying perfectly at https://thestockmarketcode.com/blog/index.php

    I have no idea what Ive doen and cant seem to get back into the blog admin panel to fix it….I think it was the homepage that I changed in settings.

    Please help!

  • I believe you can mod the wp_options and change the string for the site.

    I am guessing you changed the url to NOT include /blog, am I correct?

    I am guessing at what you did, so you can try this:
    https://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/site-url/

    You need to login to your host do this.

    OR

    You can move the files in /blog to /.

    MAKE BACKUPS FIRST

    Anyone else think I am wrong?
