"Cheatin' uh?" mssg in pop-up, on manage imgs attempt?! What's this?!

  • I’ve updated WP to 3.4.1 yesterday and couldn’t anymore manage images
    through the iThemes / PluginBuddy Slideshow plugin.
    Instead of the image editing options I am getting the weird message in the pop-up window saying : ‘Cheatin’uh ?’
    I went first to the plugin’s support forum only to find out that others have the same problem and the forum support staff explained it doesn’t come from the plugin but from the WP 3.4.1
    Unfortunately, I did the upgrade to WP 3.4.1 on the site that I’ve sold
    and is already on the buyer’s server. I detected this message because I was about changing my affiliate links connected to images/banners with those of the buyer. If it wasn’t the case I wouldn’t probably know the problem even existed. I can’t finish the transfer of the sold site because of this.
    Now what ?
    What am I supposed to do ?
    How to explain such problem to the buyer ?
    They could go even for the refund because their affiliate links are not set by mine.
    Could anyone help me PLEASE?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
