checbox field in reg form

Hi there,

I found your plugin very promising. My only concern is that to register in our country, we need GDPR consent. I read a previous support thread and found that “additional fields can be added via hook” to the reg form in your documentation (showing a “text” and “select” field).

Unfortunately, I’m not a PHP expert in writing codes and met some difficulties to rewrite the code shown as an example in your documentation.

Could you help me how to insert just a required checkbox field? When I tried to change the field type, I must be missing maybe some ‘options’ for the checkbox to work/be shown?
