• In the booking form the check box for the privacy policy is not working. Although it is checked there is an error message, that you have to actived it and booking is not possible.

    Only way to solve it ist to enable the option that consent is given by default in the backend. But then the check box on the form isn’t check but consent is given and booking is possible…

    I just tried it and it worked for me. Here are my settings:

    Consent
    Consented By Default: No
    Communications Consent
    Is consent required?: Yes
    Consent By Default: No

    I tried to do a booking and I checked the consent box and the booking succeeded.

    Have you tried the Event Submission Form with Consent (Consented By Default: No) only?

    Even though I ticked the checkbox to give consent in the form, it won’t let me submit the event.

    No, I just tried the booking form (which is what this thread is about).

    I just tried the front-end event submission form and I confirmed that I can’t submit a new event when consent is required even when the consent box is checked.
