Are you suggesting that the petition would still be sent to the target in the person’s name, but on the site it would say “anonymous” or not even display?

Tell me more about what you have in mind and the reasoning.

Thank you very much for getting back quickly ??
I’m building a site for an international commission for LGBT rights.
They collect signatures from worldwide religious leaders, some of the leaders agree to put their names on the website, and some are afraid.
But, I do want to make a public signatures list, so my current bypass is to make 2 petitions, one private and one public, and only exhibit the signatures list of the public petition.
It can be nice to have the option of deciding while signing whether you agree your name will go public or no..

It is a good idea and I think I will implement something like this. But can you explain why having the surname hidden e.g. Rapael G., doesn’t almost serve the same purpose?

Though I suppose if you were to sign as Pope Francis B. it might not be so anonymous :o)

Because I actually need the public list to be public with first and last name..
So I don’t want to hide the second name as default ??
