Check boxes not showing

Hi,
My new website is nearing completion & l’ve added the ‘Frequently Bought Together’ plugin which is excellent & just what l was looking for. However the issue l am having is that the check boxes (as shown in the demo) don’t show correctly, l only get a small dot which, while it does work, would not be obvious to a customer. l would be grateful for any advice to fix this.

One other question. Is it possible to alter the title text font &/or strength?
