Check for New Folders not working

  • The Media Library Folders plugin is not finding my folders when I use the Check for New Folders feature.

    I have uploaded files to the correct location using SFTP but when the check runs the following message appears:

    Scaning for new folders in /path/to/wp/wp-content/blogs.dir/1017/files
    No new folders were found.

    I’m using version 5.0.0 of the plugin with WordPress 5.1.1. File permissions look fine to me. Is there a step that I am missing?

    /wp-content/blogs.dir, sounds like you are using the pre WP 3.0 version of a multisite setup. Media Library Folders is only compatible with the WP 3.0 version of multisite which stores the network sites’ media library files under uploads/sites.
