    What’s the best way to check if the plugin is clearing the varnish cache when needed?

    Outside of monitoring your varnish log, the easiest way is to make an edit on a page and then view the page as a NON logged in user (incognito mode in a browser is good for that). If you see the change, then the plugin is cleaning the cache properly.
