    Hello,

    After setting up an Apache module for 301 redirects I created some and tried the ‘Check Redirect’ tool which poped up giving an X indicating Agent ‘Not using Redirection’.
    Fail when just path – https://i.imgur.com/PVUygHX.png
    Fail when path+domain – https://i.imgur.com/vzQyn85.png

    Playing around I thought I had to put full URL in the redirect, but finally came to realize this only affected the Apache module. Any redirects created normally came back with the checkbox;
    Success with just path – https://i.imgur.com/gb7DK3Z.png
    Success with path+domain – https://i.imgur.com/tCqg0C0.png

    So it seems when using Apache the ‘Check Redirect’ tool thinks Redirection isn’t being used when it is. Can we modify that popup to have the green check and maybe in the Agent indicate that Redirection Apache module in use?

    Thank you

    Yep, it’s not clear what the differences are between the various modules.

    Standard WordPress redirects give you the most features, including the ability to check them. It’s not really possible to do that with Apache (Redirection isn’t actually performing the redirect).

    I’ll try and make this clearer in the UI.

    Thanks @johnny5, I greatly appreciate it. Cheers
