Check the spell in media file name

  • Hi,

    Is there a way to check the spell in media file name? For example, if I mis-spell file name ‘my-valuable-file.jpg’ as ‘my-valuble-file.jpg’, then it will be detected as a misspelling.

    Currently I am installed Grammarly exntension for Chrome, but it seems it will Not report such an error.

    Great question. Grammarly and similar tools are primarily designed to check spelling and grammar in text content (like paragraphs, sentences, or input fields), but they don’t typically scan file names for spelling errors.

    Since you have Grammarly in your Chrome, are you looking to correct the spelling of already uploaded files in your Media Library?

    Hi, @jaygumanid

    I hope it can either show warning when I upload a new image file with typo in file name. Or can check all existing file names for typos.
