• I am on version 5.1.1, classic view.

The post options section doesn’t work:
    -Mark this post as featured
    -Post thumbnail in single view

When I try to make changes to the existing post, the changes are not saved. Basically, when I tried to uncheck “post thumbnail in single view”, the thumbnail was never removed. When I refresh the page (or view it), the box is checked again. Same story with featured.

  • The options you describe are not WordPress options. So it is added by a theme or plugin. You should ask in the support forum for that theme or plugin.

I don’t think it’s a theme option. It’s in the right sidebar along with publish date, categories, featured image, discussion, and has always been there. It’s a default wordpress option I believe. Add-ons appear at the bottom.

Well then it’s something(plugin?) you’ve always had installed, because I’ve never seen those particular options in WordPress.

    It’s most definitely not a plugin. I took a screenshot: https://prntscr.com/n162op
I think the problem is because of Gutenberg. Once I publish a post, I can no longer change the “post options”. I mean, I can tick and it ticks, but the setting is not saved, and it’s the only setting that’s glitching.

I’ve never seen those particular options in WordPress.

Not even in Gutenberg. It really sounds like a theme option. You should ask in your theme’s support forum.

    Will do, thanks.
